Occupational Health and Safety Policy

ABnote recognizes its responsibility and is committed to the prevention of workplace-caused injuries and illness by, as far as is practicable, providing a safe and healthy working environment.

ABnote accepts the obligations imposed by legislation on Occupational Health & Safety and supporting Regulations and Codes of Practice, which are applicable to our operations and regard these as being the minimum standard.

To prevent workplace-caused injury and illness, ABnote will ensure that there is a planned, ongoing, Occupational Health & Safety Program, which includes an incident reporting and analysis system, provision of information, instruction and training.

So that all requirements of this policy can be fulfilled, every employee is required, regardless of position or occupation, to comply with rules, follow safe working practices and to fully co-operate and actively participate in ABnote's Occupational Health & Safety Program.

ABnote is committed to the involvement of employees in the management of Occupational Health and Safety, in the form of Occupational Health and Safety Representatives and Committees.

Team Leaders are an integral part of this program and in conjunction with all other employees are responsible for managing Occupational Health & Safety in their particular area of authority, although the overall responsibility rests with Senior Management.

ABnote will ensure that every employee suffering from a workplace-caused injury or illness receives all entitlements, as identified in the appropriate legislation, and assistance in returning to health and work.

ABnote will ensure that at every workplace there will be a nominated person who is responsible for the Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Company compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Legislation, Regulations and Codes of Practice.

ABnote expects that all employees will be aware of and meet their obligations, as required by the Occupational Health & Safety and related legislation, Regulations and Codes of Practice.
